How many times have you told players to "get your elbow higher" when they throw? You can teach a proper starting position for the feet, arms and body. You can teach the end position of the follow through. You can move the player's arm and hand through the proper motion and trajectory. But, when the player initiates the motion alone, all the prior instructions go out the window!
The ThrowMAX™ flexible arm brace is designed to keep players from using incorrect arm motions. It does not allow the elbow to bend beyond approximately 90 degrees. By not allowing the arm to bend much beyond 90 degrees, players will automatically compensate by raising their elbow to shoulder height or higher to throw the ball. This is good; this is the start of a mechanically correct overhand throw.
Throwing a baseball or softball correctly is difficult and requires tremendous muscle memory. It will also take a lot of practice with the ThrowMAX™ flexible arm brace before muscle memory kicks in. Use the ThrowMAX™ whenever a player plays baseball or softball, whether it is while playing catch, practicing or during a game. The brace will not inhibit a proper throwing motion. It will only prevent poor mechanics from interfering with proper throwing. Once the proper motion is achieved, accuracy will come with practice.
The ThrowMAX™ is the world's only flexible arm brace made of extremely lightweight material that fits directly on a ballplayers arm. It supplies resistance which provides instant feedback as to the correct and incorrect motion of a player's throwing motion. The brace gives a player an immediate response if they try to shortcut a throw.
For throwing overhand or underhand the brace:

For throwing overhand the brace:
- shows 90 degree arm slot;
- prevents injury.
For throwing underhand (fastpitch softball pitching), the brace:
- shows wrist snap;
- prevents curling;

Size chart:
- Extra Small: Weight up to 80 pounds, height up to 4'7".
- Small: Weight 80 to 105 pounds, height 4'8" to 5'2".
- Medium: Weight 110 to 145 pounds, height 5'3" to 5'8".
- Large: Weight 150 pounds and up, height 5'9" and up.
The size chart is an approximation. Consider the person's strength and growth stage when choosing a size. For example, a player who is 5'1" may be better off with a Medium because that player is at his/her growth stage and their bodies become stronger everyday. Also keep in mind that a player who would normally wear a Large according to the chart may be not strong enough for a large and could probably use the Medium.
